it has been a week without computers for me. i am still quite amazed at how i can survive it. well, that means that this post is gonna be really long as i type out all the interesting things that happened in the past week. it all started on a saturday afternoon... Day 1 after lunch at the soup restaurant, i went into the airport unaccompanied. it was the first time that i took a plane alone and i have to say that it was quite an exciting experience. well, obviously there isnt much to do inside the place, so i juz went to collect the advent calender in neopets from the airport computer and went to the gate to begin waiting. the flight was not eventful, unless you count the fact that i din go to the toilet for about 4 hours coz i was stuck in my seat. so after the flight, it was already real late and my aunts and cousin came to fetch me home. well, that was all for today. Day 2 now things are getting started. after breakfast, my aunt and i went off to mongkok to go shopping. basically we bought a pair of shoes and some clothes coz i din bring enough there. it was really fun. walking around and going into the fitting room rather continuously at bossini, giordano, samuel and kelvin and all those sports shoes shops. after being weighed down by a few bags of stuff, we went to Langham place and had lunch there. the food was ok but that spicy fishballs are so horrendous i needed to drink three cups of water and eat chewing gum to ease the pain. naturally we had to go home to stuff the things we bought into my luggage as i was preparing for the arrival of my friends in the evening. yup, we were supposed to go to DISNEYLAND together. we took the MTR there and i must say that the train to disneyland is really cool. i think i should be uplodaing the pics into the internet real soon once the damned kodak gallery wants to work again. i took quite a number of pics in the train alone. haha. so when we alighted, my aunt and i began to take pics of the scenery there. the founrtains and gardens and whatnot. so we ended up walking to the Disney Hollywood Hotel where i was staying. which was quite a bad idea as it is REALLY far. i was panting real hard when i arrived there. so after i met my friends, and unloaded my luggage, we all went down to the lounge for dinner. pizzas and chips and a fantastic drink called the christmas star. delicious but highly expensive. anyway, when all of us gets together we are bound to go crazy and that is exactly what happened. had loads of fun snatching up all the little things there and calling room service for more. and then laughing our heads off during a TV programme. after which we slept and i am really sorry for rolling in the bed too far that vernon got about 3 inches of bed left to sleep on and spent the night being an acrobat. Day 3 we woke up at like 8am to get ready for our first day in disneyland itself!!! i was really really excited coz it was well, the first time i went to any disneyland! we ate this really nice pastries at the bakery for breakfast. i got this Bolognaise pie and chiken pizza(small one...not huge) and the former was really cute. it is like a pie but with spaghetti inside topped with mashed potatoes. and off we went for our rides. i went on loads of stuff. again, the map i should be uploading real soon. coz KODAKGALLERY is refusing to work!!! anyway, we spent the day taking loads of photos of the scenery and cartoon characters and had well loads of fun. i went on rides with vernon coz we cant realli take those crazy rides and so it was safer to go on rides with him. so when the rest went on space mountain(the rollercoaster), vernon and me went to fantasyland to play the teacups and take a pic with belle who was panting coz she juz ran out from the changing room. hahahahaha. oh yah...we also watched all of the shows. the 3d one was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! i LOVED it. it wasnt like those lousy poo poo 3d shows like spykids and sharkboy and lavagirl. it was really really GOOD. reallyreally realistic. complete with ambient lighting, splashes of water when they spill water, sweet aromas of berries and apple pie when it was "dinnertime" and wind blowing at your face when the character is flying or wind with the smell of champagne when the champagne bottle is popped in ur face. it was really cool!!! then there was this musical which is supposed to be like a prize presentation like grammy awards and the last one was the story of simba. so after the absolutely fabulous fireworks which is meant to be another show, the everyone went for space mountain. including vernon coz they kept persuading him. i din go coz i was still recovering from the second round of teacups where fabian was steering. meaning that i was spinning about 100 rounds in a second... wanted to puke real bad. but well i din. anyway, i juz stayed in the buzzlightyear shop to avoid the freezing weather and to buy gifts for my group members. anyway, after that even i got persuaded to go on the space mountain ride the next day. and i think that was a really bad decision. ok...i am really tired of typing now...i shall attempt to finish off another few days another time then. byebye
