today, once i woke up (abt 10am), i quickly rushed all the way down to lavender to that dreadful ICA building to collect my IC. in fact, i was quite ok with it coz it was a nice day with cool weather and its windy. but once i got to collecting that IC of mine i got quite annoyed and well, a little pissed off(mostly coz it has sumthing to do with the people involved in the government). well, this time, it was not coz of the government directly but the people they employ to work for them. this particular malay woman (no racism intended)who was responsible for giving my IC to me had a SERIOUS attitude problem. when she called, i went up to her and she checked my face against the pic on the card. and smirked. reason, god knows. but then she added this : "is this ur RECENT photo?" in a really sarcarstic and smug way so i think we can all guess. why am i so annoyed? when i first went to apply for the thingy, i asked the person whether my photo is recent enough. and she said yes. actually i thought that the person who served me then was really nice. but this one is like a real biatch. reason number 2, whatever happened to service attitude? according to prime minister lee, singapore service is not exactly GOOD and he seeks to improve it. well, i have to say that he is wise wnough to notice and service attitude plays an important role in the economy nowadays. but even though everyone will have to go to those people at ICA sooner or later, it does not give them the liberty to show attitude to everyone juz coz they cant simply walk out. anyway, i wasnt really happy and said yes in a forced polite way. afterall, this kinda rants should be done at home and not in a building full of people working for immigration. besides, this way, my mom will agree with me that the woman is a real slutty person. :P and juz thinking of it makes me angry. so i shant.

lets go on to more happy stuff, after getting that IC, i went for that prize ceremony for edusave and then went with ian to meet fabian and his friend in cineleisure to watch narnia. and it was quite a nice show. the posters are great too..haha. oh yes. its fabian's birhday as well...so yah. and after the movie, ian and i went for dinner together at this jap rstaurant with ian's parents. so after getting bloated, we all went home and i blogged. yup. thats it...gtg bb
