sorry about the late post. i wanted to post yesterday. but something horrible happened. MY CHARGER WAS SPOILT!!!!! so i din dare to on my com for too long if not my tabbie will die forever. but well. it is fine now. i went all the way to takashimaya today to the fujitsu centre, just to find that they moved to funan. so i have to go all the way down to city hall to get it. thank god that it was the cheapest part of the charger that is spoilt...coz there is no warranty for that AND the whole charger costs $168!!! but well...i shall blog about that after this. let us now rewind to yesterday approx 0000hrs. MARDI GRAS it was really fun. and why is that so? not because of the function itself...but the fact that i spent with my frens...6 of us...and that we got to see the totally funny costumes that the teachers wore. well...the gurls were dressing up and having this makeover to go retro...80s...and so they bought this totally retro looking cloth to make hairbands...lol. anyway, after the interesting start where we saw fire eaters who were damn cool...but made everyone else hot coz of their fire...and of course we must remember the wonderful teachers who wore highly interesting costumes. mr hassim dressed as a gladiator, mr tan as a bisexual hitman, ms rabiah as a princess, ms kwan as a fruit lady with a fruitty hat and all other sorts of costumes. it was really funny to see our teachers don on these costumes...but ms ng din wear any costumes...normal clothes to "maintain her dignity" lol. anyway, when the parade got really irritating coz we couldnt see a thing, we went to look for food. and i have to say that the foodstalls are totally pathetic. all of them were selling like...finger food...expensive finger food that doesnt fill the stomach...and this is ALL OM'S FAULT. i have no idea why the hell is he so restrictive. first be banned the bookshop from selling foodstuff and THEN he banned people from cooking proper food in stalls for Mardi Gras. just becuase he leads a pathetic subsistent life doesnt give him the right to reduce everyone to his state. anyway, we just bought some fishballs and fondue...and we were treating each other...lol...i treated light bands...others treated drinks...and we went around school looking for teachers and taking photos...so obviously we did not get to see much of the performances coz no one gave us programmes...so we din noe wad is happening where. and as such, i missed some of the performances that i wanted to watch..like modern dance, CO and choir. all i got to watch is a lousy magic show by the teacher and the chamber ensemble performance. but well...we were having fun toking and taking photos...so who cares...after all that walking around school, we went to watch the grand finale where the teachers did a really really good performance using the moulin rouge indian dance song....and bala rapped..after which the SC got us to do mass dance...which obviously i WATCHED coz no one taught me how to dance... and we finally ended with a much nicer version of the school anthem. so the 6 of us went opposite for supper only to find all the stalls closed...so we just settled for drinks...oh yes.. woonyee's shoe broke while she was crossing the road...so she was jumping across the road...poor gurl...thank goodness she still had that toe strap...anyway, she temporarily fixed it by using one of the wire decorations that they bought...*my idea*...lol...anyway...after toking, abt this really gothic woman we saw...and other stuff like progress reports...we all left for home. doesnt sound much does it...but really...it was enjoyable...coz i spent it with frens. so now i shall ramble somemore about today! which is not so good. i woke up at eleven...and set off with my HEAVY tablet to takashimaya where the service centre WAS. and after walking about the whole of the fifth level and going all the way back down to information where i realized that the damned shop MOVED to FUNAN. at CITY HALL while i was at ORCHARD! i was like...WTF!!! so no choice haf to rush down and walk and walk and walk to find the darned shop which is at the fifth level...anyway...when the person at that place told me that the charer wasnt covered by warranty i was quite nervous...and i was shocked when they told me that the charger cost $168. added to the fact that i am already highly annoyed that i have to rush here and there coz they MOVED. anyway, i checked with the shop next door and they said can buy the spoilt part only...which in my case is the cheap part and not the thing that steps down the current...or voltage...or wadeva...and so it only costs 5 bucks!!!! i was like...SO relieved and happy after that...so i went down to taco bell and ate lunch..it has been a really long time since i ate tacos...it was really nice. but the prob is...it started raining cats and dogs once i finished my food...and i got stuck at that mall for THREE hours. so i went to see if i can buy thumbdrive...but too ex...i was like..so bored there!!! but after the rain stopped, i went to marina square...to shop...found a few shirts and pants that i like...but its like SO ex...even worse than the thumbdrive...i mean...how can one set of clothes cost 130...that is like the price of my charger le...the expensive price of it..anyway...after shopping, i mean WINDOW shopping, i went home...where i had to wait for another HOUR before the stupid bus came. i was already so exhausted after walking about the whle of marina square AND funan AND fifth floor of taka...and i still had to STAND and wait for the DAMNED bus!!!!!! for ONE HOUR!!! i was so pissed with the driver...and i so i slept on the bus and almost missed my stop but i din.. :P and so not i am blogging and guess wad..this lousy post has just ended.
