Language Arts. this subject is officially the subject that i hate the most. all year long the subject that gives the most work is LA. presentations that never seem to stop coming at our faces on freak stories and texts from a freaking book, essays and comprehensions that also seem to come from a never ending source (well i dun think THAT is much of an exaggeration). and when there is any shard or glimmer or particle of free time, other weird things will be hurled at us like spontaneous debates where there is a serious need for speed thinking and a whole hell of a lot of general knowledge. it REALLY doesnt help that their holiday homework doesnt seem to be due AFTER the holidays like most assignments (well, besides that freaking geog rocks and weathering essay that seems to be due next week). firstly we needed to do this 6 compre questions by last friday and NOW we have to do a freaking WEBQUEST for our scientific revolution presentation. its like, WHAT THE BLOODY HELL SHIT IDIOT BITCH ASSHOLE. it seems that a simple presentation can no longer suffice and now they have to bring the assessment modes to a whole new level in technology. TALK ABOUT SCIENCE AND HUMANS' OVER-RELIANCE on it. i mean, they are seriously trying to kill us by slowly draining us of any vestiges of happiness and relaxation in our already deprived lives (by deprived i mean socially and physically and mentally). if any of you readers think u are not so, then take it as me being deprived yah. i mean, although it is the holidays, doesnt mean that we do not need to spend time doing what we like to do for a change and take a mind OFF our workload and not spend one whole week doing homework and feeling like we are still schooling. so while you bitchy teachers have fun and enjoy the sunshine and sweltering heat and savour the pain that teacehrs are putting through, we are still working our asses off. besides that, why the hell do you want WEBQUEST for anyway, its not like as if EVERY SINGLE STUDENT is well versed in computer technology although we have our tablets for one and a half year already. by doing so, you are just putting MORE WORK on selected few who happens to know how to create websites. and also, it would be a seriously spastic way to judge students that way as you are basically only judging one person and not the class. and if you make it an individual effort, then it would be highly unfair to NUMEROUS students and why is that? because, just because they do not know how to make websites, they are going to fail in this assignment. now tell me, HOW IS THAT FAIR? also, by doing so, students may NOT necessarily be learning more. in fact, the fact that some of them like me, will develop a sense of disgust and feel absolutely abhorred by the sight of the work and hence start to reject this information; so HOW may i ask does THAT help us LEARN????????? to me, these stupid people who claim to be intellectuals and are bearing the responsibility of teaching and guiding student are well, not very intellectual. they just FAIL to see the bigger picture. all they haf is this TINY MICRO view of the situation as they are so freaking obsessed with their own subject that they forgo the macro view that the world does NOT revolve around their ONE SINGLE subject and that students actually take more than 6 subjects. so WHAT are these people doing, they are OBVIOUSLY making NO effort in ATTEMPTING to communicate amongst themselves to UNDERSTAND the situation instead of INSISTING that the workload is REASONABLE. whilst our competetiveness and desire to do our best affects and adds to our stress, the MAJOR part of the stress STILL comes from these people. empty promises and hypocritical claims that "we care for students' welfare"...HA, that slogan is total bullshit. the teachers never EVER gave a freaking flying fart in space about us. and I DOUBT THAT WILL CHANGE. TO HELL WITH YOU AND YOUR SCREWED UP EDUCATION SYSTEM!!!!!
