LA
it has been too long since my last post. what i should really be doing right this instant is not actually to blog but to start on my LA short stories. problem? i dont seem to have done enough "research" for my topics yet and i have yet to discover a style of writing. ok; i think i just came up with an idea. not original but hey it is a really good idea. thanks fabian! let me first bitch about things that my teacher ask me to do. she asked me to pen down what my inspiration is and where can i find my resources and how can i do sources and what sort of literary text can i use as reference and wad is my unique style of writing like "catherine lim's little ironies" i mean COME ON WOMAN. if it is unique, i will not need literary sources to use as reference. if my work is to be original, i will not need to look at other people's work. i just want to write it the way i want to write it and if you have time to reflect and think about what the hell shakespeare is trying to convey with his absurd language then you probably will have time to think about why i use a certain expression or a certain phrase or sumthing like that. and not just pass it off as "awk"-ward. if you do not understand why it is like this, it doesnt mean that there isnt reason to it. lastly, you asked me "what setting is this; what context" the thing of importance here is definitely not setting and context. what i am trying to portray doesnt have anything at all to do with context and setting.why must i limit myself to certain things and try to bring out the essense of the context that i chose why i can let my mind run free? the thing is; when there is NO context and NO setting, it makes the stories and its themes much more universal. like what mr veera said; if an advert is in a studio, it means that the location is unknown and that place is "nowhere" esp when sex icons are used like bimbos wearing skimpy clothing and looking as slutty as they possibly can because it gives people the subtle mindset and thinking that if it is "nowhere" then it could happen ANYWHERE. how can you, a professional teacher not understand this simple concept... PLEASE you need to get some upgrading. report now: one vague idea, four more to go, no text at all.
