freaky friday is today, october the sixth. on this day, i totally died for geography exam because i totally neglected it the night before and early in the morning (meaning at 1-3am) so what happened was after the PHYSICS exam in the MORNING, i had to chiond urbanisation in the afternoon in about three hours. the thing is, i tried to spot questions and thats where the problem starts. i neglected the urban conservation efforts of Singapore and HEY, the test is a positive example of Murphy's law and the thirteen mark essay question was, "Urban conservation in Singapore was a success. Discuss." my god. i looked at it and died. although there are four questions to choose from, i din touch tourism at all i had no idea about the case studies. haiz. so the thing is, the tourism questions will be easy i i knew the case study, just like how the urban conservation will be easy if i actually read the notes. so what happened in the end was, i did the urbanisation question and totally crapped out the urban conservation thing. so i just said that it is successful in the sense that the areas are conserved but the problem is that it is just a deceptive facade and is only a glamourous face but the true essense and spirit of the culture is lost as the people are chased away and blahblahblah. so i can kiss goodbye to about 10 marks. continuing on, the haze in Singapore is getting on my respiratory system's nerve. for heaven's sake when i was watching charmed just now i can barely see VS and the SEA which is like in VERY close proximity to my house. isnt that great?!?!!??!? the smell of the haze is freaking stinky as well. and my nose is just stinging like crazy. ARGH. prolonged exposure will cause my asthma to return. in fact, i was already wheezing just now. ARGH. i need to get my inhaler ready and close to me just in case. stupid indonesia hotspots. it just totally increased from 97 to 227 or sumthing in a couple of days. why do these people have to use slash and burn?!!?!?!?! haiz. and today is supposed to be the mid-autumn festival as well. so much for looking at the largest moon in eight years :(
