gosh. i am sixteen and i just flaunted that fact today...haiz...with my first NC16 show. dun worry my friens in TJ...i din watch ice age 2 or any cartoons...Pan's Labyrinth. that was the show that i watched. ok...so i was finally convinced by ian to watch that movie which i KNOW was a freaky show and that it was full of violence and gore and monstrous creatures with eyes on the palm of its hand, i still went forward to watch it. and i also depended on my instinct to curl into a ball and close my eye and cover my eyes when i sense something scary or gory coming up. well, i haf to say that irritated dearest ian to no end..haha..becoz it was his goal for me to get freaked out and well...i din get REALLY freaked out because i closed my eyes at the exact right moments and missed the whole scary part. hahaha...so once again, i haf proven my point. there is NO point watching the movie if u are going to close ur eyes for half the movie. yeap. but i have to say...it is rather artsy...so its a little difficult to understand wads the point of the whole thing. and since i haf such poor analytical skill, i think i will have to go online to search for wad the hell is the deeper meaning of the thing. i get some of the parts but not others..like wads the point of setting it in the tijme of war in spain with freedom fighters and such...and is it like some sort of parallel world with different events but leading to like..the same meaning sort of thing...yah..and i think one of the message was that WAR is BAD and so is the military. cruel blinded people. haiz...i think that the themes revolve around something about innocence..and yah..the innocence of the child and the sorta "conflicts" (?) it haf with the cruel world that they live in...but seriously..the monsters are hideous... REALLY hideous. and some parts are REALLY disgusting..for me..but of the parts that i watch..my personal grossest was the part where the insects are flying around and some disgusting bug was crawling around her... EW. yeap..so that was my first NC16 movie...oh wells...i just figured out that there are LOADS and TONNES of NICE movies that i NEED to watch this year.....better start saving NOW. ok. gtg bye
