temporary reprieve.

hey people... here's another post in my valiant attempts to keep my blog alive. just had a long busy day today... urgh. Monday blues. i hate mondays cuz it means i still have 4 days to slog through school before the next weekend. but today is a little bit different. a sort of break from the mundane school routine which is REALLY starting to get old...

i guess at the end of the day i'll be able to heave a sigh of relieve. at least, temporarily. until the NEXT test comes along... or worse... the JCTs... or worse still, the Prelims. and THE ultimate WORST... the big As. well, i still believe that we should celebrate our victories, no matter how small or shortlived; because they are hard to come by dont you think?

okok. so what exactly is terence rambling on and on about? its a little thing i like to call, H3 MOLECULAR BIOLOGY EXAMINATION. yeap. that's the title of the paper i sat for in nice capital letters. i said today was a kidn of break in "tradition" didn't i? what i meant was, today i went to school only for biology lab class and chemistry lecture. after that and a quick.. HURRIED lunch, it was off to the "one of the bestest schools in singapore". RJC. new observation: RJC smells distinctly like lemon scented cleaning agent. did they paint the walls with mama lemon? coz the fresh zesty scent of lemon and detergent hangs in the air all around their campus. yes. i do mean all around their campus. even the open air areas. amazing huh. i wonder how much the government is spending on detergent for RJC alone.

enough useless information. let me get back to my narration. so i spent the whole morning in school studying and mugging for H3 bio for the last time (after a week's worth of mugging and drowning in annoyingly long names and processes), ran around school getting my early leave form in order, having lunch then leaving. i even spent my train ride to RJC studying. DUH. and when i reached, kengsheng and i trotted along the freaking big school getting from one corner to the other to the multipurpose hall. we were early so we spent some time at the sports complex... observing their PE lessons and rugby practice... but mostly we were mubbling concepts to ourselves, desperately internalising the information in the final minutes before we enter the extremely well air conditioned hall to sit for the exam. MY TABLE WAS SHAKY! how irritating. the moment i sat down on my chair i started trying to calm myself and prevent information from draining out of my saturated and throbbing brain. and then, it started. two and a half hours of non-stop writing. ok. i exaggerate. i thought for a few minutes and stupidly bothered myself wondering whether to choose to do questioon 8 or 9 coz i THINK i know how to do both but i just cant seem to decide which one i'm more confident in. oh yes. i did mention that i did not finish the paper didnt i? i was left with the LAST part of the LAST part of the LAST question. but time's up and pens down. urgh. how SICKENING. i KNEW i should not have spent SOOOOOO much time DECIDING WHICH FLAMING QUESTION TO DO.

(the rest of this post is typed on 6th may because i was so bloody tired i fell asleep at 730 and woke up the next morning at 6.40.)

let me continue talking about the test. i was at... not completing the paper cuz i spent way too much time thinking what question to do right? right ok. so i was panicking when time was running out and i am still scribbling my answer like a mad person. but i think i managed to calm down (surprisingly) when he said time's up. i was like... FINALLY IT'S OVER! and apparently kengsheng shares the same sentiments. lol. we were discussing the paper all the way as we walked out of RJ. and THIS MORNING (one day later) i SUDDENLY started thinking that i should have done the OTHER question instead of the question i chose to do in the exam. and i was SO distracted i was going crazy thinking about it during econs lecture. but allister was like.. i rather you sleep than think about these kinda thing. haha.. a voice of reason in a sea of messed up thoughts.

anyway... after the exam, we rushed back to school on cab (mental note: pay him the fare) and i even reached in time for PE! hahahahaha.... thank goodness i didnt miss it... i like gym lessons.... its fun. like MUCH better than the mass PE i mean.. group torture sessions. haha... AMAZING huh.. terence actually LIKES PE now... well.. sometimes. lol. but then after that my tailbone pelvic area is bruised coz of those abs exercises we did on the floor... urgh... my triceps are aching too.. hahaha.. i guess that's supposed to be.. a good thing? i dunno. but anyway.... as i mentioned before, i was so tired from everything on monday that i slept at 7.30pm which is a little after i ate dinner and woke up... slightly more than ELEVEN hours later and that is... 640am. AMAZING isnt it.... my body surprises me sometimes.

anyway, so today was mad rush to bathe and pack my bag and rush to school which surprisingly i was not late for. and then i had to sit through econs where i was distracted thinking and regretting my choice of question until allister told me to STOP. and then it was GP. which is an ok/normal lesson (for her standards) and i got back my essay which i did NOT do well in at ALL.. compared to allister who got SIGNIFICANTLY higher than me. damn... well... i deserved it for writing out of point. in my defence, i DO remember being EXTREMELY lethargic that day. but still, no excuse. and after that was a math lecture which i did NOT sleep in.. in fact, i did not sleep in ALL the lectures and lessons today. (DUH... i slept for eleven hours) but i'm still quite irritated by correlation. and then it was BIO. which is a nice subject as always.

now.... AFTER school, i had to cab ALL THE WAY DOWN TO FREAKING NTU to give the samples to them. when i got on the cab, STUPID david texted me and told me there are 2 MORE samples. so i had to TURN back... wadeva. school is paying for the fare but STILL. gosh. and then i realized that they only had the WATER and not the extraction so i had to do the extraction and bring a control sample before taking a cab all the way down. URGH. i'm SO pissed... that's the final time i am going there. I REFUSE to go there to take the results when it comes out... i dont care WHAT the FREAK that david chee has but HE is going to be the one going down. i have been going there ALL BY MYSELF FOR THREE TIMES ALREADY. EVERY SINGLE TIME the travelling time back is ONE AND A HALF HOURS. that's a total of FOUR AND A HALF hours of my life WASTED. so THAT'S IT. HE IS GOING DOWN THE NEXT TIME. i will NOT.. over my DEAD BODY go down ANYMORE. EFFING PISSED with this shit. i didnt even want to get into the finals in the first place! the presentation is like 5 days and i STILL do not have the powerpoint slides which means i am TOTALLY UNPREPARED for it and after that we will have to make POSTER WITH PHOTOSHOP WHICH I TOTALLY DONT KNOW HOW TO USE. THANKS YOU STUPID SICKENING SCIENCE FAIR FOR SCREWING UP MY LIFE.

need i add that on TOP of all that SHIT, i have a bio test, a chem test THIS WEEK and i'm pretty damn sure i have a econs test or sumthing next week. and AFTER that there is a math test at the last week. URGGHH!!!!!! I HATE SCHOOL. I REALLY REALLY REALLY RESENT IT. i LOATHE IT. and now i have to go and do my chem tutorial, bio tutorial and study for bio test and chem spa and whatever other SHIT that needs to be done... NOT FORGETTING..... the EFFED UP NON-EXISTENT POWERPOINT. someone save me from this HELLHOLE!!!!!
