taiwan.

i have taken the plane thrice within a short period of 4 days. it's freaking crazy. on the night of fifth i took the plane HOMEEEE to HK. i took another plane to taiwan the very next morning on the sixth. and i just came back from taiwan a few hours ago. i got a few words to say about my taiwan trip - i am freaking EXHAUSTED.

let's see... on the first day we pretty much walked all over the place. we walked one LONG LONG underground station and then we went to sogo and then... we went to ximending. it feels very japan-ish. the taiwanese are really followers of the japs. we spent a LOT of time walking there and looking at what the shops there sell but hardly buying anything aside from food. anyways, we walked from that place..all the way to this night market.. which is basically just a single street. got to see snakes... rabbits... mouse... sex shops... TWO sex shops... and we ate dinner.. and by then... it was night.. and i was EXHAUSTED. and oh yes... did i mention it was only... 7? we were so tired we cabbed back to the hotel... where i scrambled around knocking things over in the shower.. and SLEPT at.... 8!!!!!! THAT'S FREAKING EARLY! anyways, my aunt and cousin came back later at night at about.. 10-11ish and woke me up. so i had supper... and... went back to sleep. yes. i feel like a pig. dont remind me.

OH YES! apparently, my sis and i were so totally out of it we didnt even hear the people in the adjacent room having sex. yup. your eyes are not fooling you. according to my aunt and uncle and cousins... all of them had their sleep disturbed by some realllyyyy LOUD sex. omfg. now why the hell did my sis and i miss such an interesting event! lol...

on to the second day... after breakfast we went to the zoo. we had a FREE ride to the zoo! because they closed the metro line which leads to the zoo... so they had a free shuttle bus. i still cannot believe that we spent the entire day at the zoo. it's huge... we didnt even manage to see everything. but we were TIRED! lol... the exhaustion kinda compounds on itself... aching feet and tired eyes... i fell asleep on the trip back. oh yeah... my cute younger cousin went to take a picture with what he THOUGHT was icecream... but was actually... a pile of shit. that was like the joke of the day. hahahaha... he's soooooo cuteeee!

after we came back from the zoo... we went to have jap food for dinner and then a few of us went to shilin night market.. duh! it's like.. a must go in taiwan isnt it? lol.. anyways, it's practically non stop eating there. after dinner we went to the market and bought beancurd which is WEIRD... that famous GIGANTIC chicken cutlet which tastes amazingly good... and fried mushroom which is GREAT as well.. and my faveee.. ALMOND TEA! i just LOVE all those roadside stalls. oh yea, when i was drinking my almond tea, i decided to buy the powdered form so i can make it at home.. but then.... apparently the police were around so ALLLLLLL the vendors were like packing up store and FLEEING! that was such an experience. but well... i didnt manage to get my almond powder then...

BUT.... i loved it so much i was determined to get it on the last day. sooo... when we went to taipei101... we went to the supermarket to find it. lol.. and with the help of my cousin's taiwanese friend.. i finally bought my almond tea powder! hahahaha.. YAY! oh yeah... taipei101 is freaking crazy tall.. and... the shopping arcade below it is like... WAYYYYYYYYYYYY more up market than paragon. and WAY bigger too....

so after walking around and shopping in this department store-ish thing where they bought a lot of books... we finally went back to the hotel to get out luggage.. stuff the things we just bought into the bags.. and walk all the way to the bus stop to go to the airport. and here i am... typing away trying to fit everything into one post. yup. i think that's all... i'm TIRED~!!!!!! need sleep and sleep and sleeeeeppppppp. AND GYM MEMBERSHIP!

p.s: i believe that hongkong has the one of the most if not THE most efficient and advanced train system in the entire world.

- missing you.
