i cannot believe that SATs are in a few days time. i am so so so so so so so so so freaking screwed! i just did the practice and i did FREAKING HORRIBLY! oh noooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with the mark i got and an assumed '4' for the essay... I CANT GO TO MY DREAM SCHOOL!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!! have to work damn ass hard for the next couple of days to get my marks up. SHIT STOP BEING SO DAMN CARELESS TERENCE YOU'RE SO FREAKING STUPID! and btw, you SUCK at english. well, at least this time i went prepared, i brought a jacket cuz the aircon at the esplanade library is so cold.
anyways, we were supposed to do SOMETHING after studying for the SATs but we didnt managed to do it but whatever. so we went for tea at royal copenhagen in takashimaya. lol. yes. all credit goes to fabian for encouraging us to try that place out. i just LOVE their strawberry water. it's even MORE strawberry-ish today! hmm. and it goes GREAT with the cake that i was munching on. it's a WONDERFUL cake. i highly recommend it. it's called bakewell tart. and the thing about this place... they dont mass produce their cakes (thank goodness) so they dont ALWAYS have the same cakes for sale. :) i just love the very fruity raspberry thing they have.. and that wonderful buttery milky taste of the cake itself. hmmmm... and it's not too sweet, quite a light cake to eat. i felt so comfortable eating that. anyways, i also shared a danish butter cake too. it's sweeter, especially the crust which seems to be pure sugar but i'm pretty sure there's egg and butter in the crust as well. but it has a very rich vanilla taste and aroma due to the abundance of vanilla beans they mixed into the cream. it does have this rather peculiar texture to it that i dont particularly like coz it's kinda... slightly powdery? i dont know how to describe it. all in all i do prefer my bakewell tart better. oh oh oh and i like looking at all the intricate porcelain-ware they have over there. very exquisite. hahaha. and the best thing is... THE LITTLE MERMAID is set in DENMARK TOO!!!!!! hahahahahahahahahahaha. they even have a statue in copenhagen named "the little mermaid" and there is a scene in the DISNEY movie where ariel sits in that EXACT position! hehehe.. i just LOVVVEEEE The Little Mermaid. all time Disney FAVE classic ever. erm.. i have a feeling there's some tautology going on there but WHATEVER!
anyway, there's something else too. dear fabian introduced me to a whole bunch of songs yesterday when we went to orchard (there's no place else on this island worth going i tell you). loads of... beyonce, katy perry, brandy, britney and a whole bunch of others which he has in his iPod. anyways, i have to agree completely (no moderation people...we have to get used to being extreme for the SATs) with him that it's a freaking great song. and that song is... "Sweet Dream" by Beyonce! ok, fine so it's SLIGHTLY repetitive but you dont really give much thought about the lyrics when the beat is pounding in your ear. it's one of the rare songs that i classify as having this great "OOMPH" in it's music and beat. wow, both the events i'm talking about seems to be introduced or recommended by fabian. HAHAHA. i should rename this post "fabian's recommendations" but nah, i like my current title better. nonetheless, SPECIAL thanks to FABIANO!
oooooh damn. right now that chorus line keeps POUNDING in my head. i just love it. hmm.. why? because.........
- you could be a sweet dream, or a beautiful nightmare.
